Got some new wheels and tires for my car and hadn’t had an alignment for a couple years, so I went for a wheel alignment at a national chain (which will remain unnamed…). I asked if they did custom specs, and they said “yes”, so I dropped the car off with some specifications. Needless to say, they failed. Big time. They barely adjusted anything, claiming there was no more room to get to my specs. The car drove horribly, and was very unsteady on the freeway. I don’t like to ask for favors, but I knew to get the job done right, I had to call on someone who would actually take the time to get things set properly, one way or another.
My friend Roman works at a dealership about an hour north of me, so I gave him a ring, and he hooked me up. We worked on the car afterhours, so we could spend as much time as was necessary to set everything to my specs. The result: the car handles like it’s on rails now, and the tires grip relentlessly!
I took some shots of my car in work-in-progress mode, and of both our cars after the job was done.

The dealership even had a spot where they do shoots for their own cars:
