I’m a member of NewCelica.org, a forum for Toyota Celica owners, so I decided that before the holidays in December would be a great time to have a meet.  I chose Orlando Kart Center as the venue, since I had been there earlier this year and had a blast!  The weather was absolutely perfect.  Of course, I couldn’t get any shots while karting, but we hung out for a while afterwards and did a little photoshoot.  Since I sold my D90 and was waiting on the D7000, I borrowed a friend’s D70s.  I brought a couple lenses with me, the 35mm F/1.8G and Rokinon 8mm fisheye, and used them with the D70s’ 18-70mm lens.  Makes things interesting working with a camera you’re not familiar with, but I got the hang of it after a while, and found some settings that worked best with the images the camera produced.

BTW, even though  I’m a  member of NewCelica.org, I sold my Celica around 5 years ago.  That would explain the odd car in the mix.  ;)
