This is the meet I’d been waiting to attend for a long time now. Luckily, my friend finished rebuilding his engine in time so I could hitch a ride! I flew into Boston the day before where he picked me up, then we drove down to NY early the morning after.
The initial meeting spot was the roads around the Sheraton Crossroads hotel in Mahwah, NJ.

After a briefing on the events of the day, it was off to the first leg of the run:

Some winding roads later, we stopped at a parking lot near West Point for the main part of the meet. A raffle was held for free car parts, and awards given out for the best cars at the meet. The actual number of cars was readily apparent, as the entire front lot was filled, along with some of the side and rear!

Finally, the last half of the run lead us through some amazing scenery and twisty roads, leading up to Bear Mountain Park.

The park itself was high up with a view of all the surrounding area. You could even see the silhouette of New York City over the horizon!

All in all, this is the best meet I’ve ever been to in my time as a car guy (and I was in the passenger seat the whole time!). It also allowed me to take the best automotive related photos I’ve ever taken. I’m bringing my car next year, no matter what!
awesome shoots !!!! looks like lots of fun!!!!
